As I'm sure a lot of you know there are some great Spoonie stores on Etsy. They sell everything from comfy clothes and cute heating packs, to spoon themed jewelry. I often times find myself looking at all of these amazing things my fellow Spoonies have made and start to wonder if I could make any of them.
However, I personally, am not the craftiest person. So creating customized spoons like the one below, featured on MilkAndHoneyLuxuries, is just a bit over my head.

So I searched around for a bit and found a couple of fairly simple Spoonie crafts, that are made from spoons!
The first one was created by Diane from Spoonie Living. Diane created something she calls a "Spoon Jar" and I absolutely loved the idea! The Spoon Jar is filled with ideas of things you can do when you're feeling overwhelmed and you just need to be distracted.

The Spoon Jar is filled with ideas of things you can do when you're feeling overwhelmed and you just need to be distracted. Her spoon jar is even color coded by the type of activity! Other ways you could color code your spoons is by how many "spoons" they're going to take up, with things that are easier and don't require too much effort, like watching YouTube, as low spoon activities, and things that take a bit more energy and time, like hitting the local playground, as high spoon activities.
Enough chatting, lets get into how to make this awesome craft!
Things You'll Need:
A Jar (If you have an old wide-mouth mason jar sitting around the house it would probably work amazingly)
Wooden Spoons (Diane found some great cheap ones on Amazon here)
A Marker (Diane had a bit of a hard time finding one that didn't bleed too much on the spoons. She thinks that smaller felt tip pens work better, but that she shouldn't be quoted on that, sorry Diane!)
If You Want To Decorate or Color Code Your Spoons:
Stickers
OR
Paint
The directions on this one are pretty self-explanatory. If you have suggestions for what other Spoonies could put in their spoon jars be sure to comment!
Another awesome craft I found was made by tumblr user just-lucky-i-guess. She created a bouquet of inspiring spoons, and I absolutely love them!

In her description of her craft she said that she got almost everything from the dollar store, so it was incredibly cheap, and it's also incredibly cute.
